Start Your Engines: NWA Auto Week Coming in October

Have a passion for vehicles?

The 2018 Cruising the Ozarks NWA Auto Week is every automotive enthusiast’s dream.

It rolls into Fayetteville Oct. 3-7, and the main indoor and outdoor auto show will be held Oct. 5-7 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Arkansas’ biggest Cars & Coffee will take place Oct. 3 and 4, and averages over 350 participating cars from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. Educational training classes and vendor events will also be available to hold your interest.

The state’s largest road tour is also in the works, and we all know that not much beats a long drive with plenty to talk about.

“This is our second year for this event. Last year we had 305 vehicles attend from nine different states,” says Nathan Skelton of Cruising the Ozarks.

If you aren’t sold on all of the above, get this. The entire week of events is raising funds, awareness and donations for the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter.

NWA Auto Week includes an ultimate shine competition at Shine Tek Auto Space, burger night, off-road adventures at Rush Springs, movie night on the fairgrounds, vendors, car clinics, Razorback football tailgating and more! Check out some of the nicest rides from around the country while you can!

On-site camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights, and car show registration is only $20 if you preregister! Click here to buy tickets.
