AY: What is your name and job title?

JM: Jeff McDaniel, owner and program director at FastFit

AY: Where is your hometown?

JM: Woodlawn, Ark.

AY: What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?

JM: During the summer, I love to hit the pool during the day and then hang out with friends in the evening.  It’s also a fun workout day for me since I don’t feel so confined and rushed with a work schedule. During the week, it’s whenever I can get it in, but I usually have some tremendous workouts on the weekends that fill my tank for the week.

AY: If your house was on fire, what is the first thing you would save?

JM: It’s sad for me to say, but I’m afraid it would probably be my laptop, haha. But, beside that, I would make a mad dash for a photo album I have of my family that contains pictures from the pre-iCloud/smartphone era that would just be irreplaceable.

AY: What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

JM: The Sunday school teacher who told me “Trust God with all your heart and don’t rely upon your own understanding.” For someone like me who likes the feeling of being in control of my life and hating feeling like I’m completely out of control,  I have to remind myself of that. Like, daily, haha.

AY: Do you prefer to cook at home or eat out?

JM: Definitely cook at home.  Unless I’m with friends, I typically prepare all my meals at home. Although, the best of both worlds for me is to order out and eat in.

AY: If you could spend a day with any celebrity (living or not) who would it be?

JM: Before she got married, Jessica Alba would have won this, hands down. Wink But, being the enormous “Smallville” fan that I am, I’d have to say Mr. Clark Kent himself, Tom Welling.

AY: Your favorite vacation destination: beach or mountains?

JM: 100% the beach! Give me any beach that has sand, sun and surf, and I won’t want to leave.

AY: Are you a cat person or a dog person?

JM: I like cats, and had some as a kid, but I LOVE dogs.

AY: Are you a morning person or a night owl?

JM: Yes! Haha. I, for the most part, am a night owl, but I’m pretty good about getting up relatively early at the same time. When work is not involved, it’s well after midnight for me. Wink
