This year, the 31st annual King Biscuit Blues Fest will take place on October 5th through the 8th in Helena, Arkansas – home to the longest running radio show ever – “King Biscuit Time”.

This will be a weekend filled with food, bustling activity, and most importantly – the soulful music that aims to recognize and bring remembrance to the forefathers of Blues and its successors.

Sonny Boy Williamson was one of the first artists to air on “King Biscuit Time”. Among some of the first listeners were BB King and Muddy Waters!

This year, the headliners include John Mayall, Charlie Musselwhite, and Sonny Landreth with special guest Roy Rogers.

To partake in this festival will be to touch a piece of history, contributing to an ode to a simpler time, resplendent with those stirring sounds of the Delta Blues.
