Easy Tiger, Lost Forty’s Mexican-style Vienna lager, recently earned a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival. Easy Tiger will be on the prowl all over Arkansas soon, and Lost Forty is celebrating the statewide release and new can design with a live mariachi band, special brewhouse tours, food specials (including Chicken Tinga Tacos…yes please), and more! The party is going to kick off at 5:30 p.m. at Lost Forty Brewing. Crack open a cold one as they make their way down the canning line!

Bourbon samples and sliders? Count. Me. In. Brewski’s, Bourbon & Burgers comes to Heifer Village at 6:30 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to try as many cocktails, beers, bourbon samples and sliders as they can handle! There will be over 60 vendors, a build-your-own-cocktail bar, music, a slider competition and more. It’s party time, and for a great cause! Get out and savor the finest that Little Rock has to offer at 6 p.m. You’ll be able to sample diverse local cuisines, beer and fine wines. There will also be a fabulous silent auction, and live music to keep everyone moving. The Finest Young Professionals will be honored for their business success, and commitment to the community by raising funds to support cystic fibrosis research and patient services. This is an evening you definitely want to be a part of. Silverado Records’ latest find, David Adam Byrnes, will be playing the standout music that got him three nominations at the Arkansas Country Music awards recently. Country music fans, break out the boots. Doors open at 7 at Stickyz Rock N’ Roll Chicken Shack, and the show starts at 8:30. It’s ages 18+ only, and tickets are $10 per person.

Slip and slide your way back into the school spirit at the Back to School Splash at Splash Zone in Jacksonville. A DJ will be spinning music, Kingdom Made Treats will be there with Italian ice, and dancing is encouraged! Be there between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Admission is $5 and slides are free!
Do you have a story to tell? Perhaps a favorite poem that people need to hear? Head to Nexus Coffee & Creative between 6 and 9 p.m. for Pour Over Prose. Sign up starts at 6 p.m. for the open mic literary night. Let your voice be heard, and order a cold brew while you’re at it!

The Amplify Christian Music Festival has a fantastic lineup of artists this year, including Casting Crowns, We Are Messengers, Kari Jobe, Jason Curry and Darren Mulligan. Two afternoons of enjoying the warm August sun, meaningful music and your friends and family? Don’t pass it up!
It kicks off at 3 p.m. on Friday, and 1 p.m. on Saturday at Holland Chapel Baptist Church in Benton.
The festival is free and open to the public, but you are required to register in order to attend. For fast entry, you’re encouraged to register ahead of time.

Warm up those vocals, because Team Wheel Deal is kicking off their second annual Karaoke Fundraising Extravaganza at White Water! Get ready for karaoke, a restaurant raffle, fun activities for kids, a silent auction and more! There’s no cover, but attendees are encouraged to donate $5 at the door. The event will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., and proceeds benefit Team Wheel Deal’s dedication to finding a cure for MS.
