Contestants wishing to audition in-person can register online before tomorrow, or they can register the day of the audition. Contestants are encouraged to come by the audition location as early as possible to register. However, registration does not guarantee an audition opportunity.

Individuals must bring identification for proof of age. A driver’s license, state ID card or a school ID card will be accepted. Contestants are allowed to have one person accompany them to the audition, but that individual with the contestant must be present at check-in/registration. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must sign a Personal Release form.

To audition online, visit this website to register and get ready to sing! The deadline to submit a video for the online audition is Nov. 5, at 11:59 (PT).

Contestants must be between 15 and 28 years of age and must be legal U.S. residents. In addition, contestants are ineligible if they have competed in a previous season of American Idol or advanced to American Idol’s public voting phase. Click here for more rules and information.
