Don’t Miss August’s Third Friday Argenta Art Walk

August’s Third Friday Argenta Art Walk is the perfect opportunity to go out, grab a craft beer or locally-roasted coffee, and get inspired. The Argenta vibe will be strong from 5 to 8 p.m., this Friday.

Greg Thompson Fine Art will present the lovely “Best of the South,” which opens on Friday in conjunction with the art walk.

Meanwhile, Thea Foundation is showing off The Mind Unveiled, an exhibit by Arkansas native Carmen Alexandria Thompson. Artists from the Arkansas Pastel Society will also be putting on an interactive demonstration. Thompson will be participating in the walk, so stop and say hi if you see her!

The Latino Art Project will present “Pop Art” at Core Brewery, and you can also head over to the Laman Library’s Argenta branch for an artists’ reception for the Blue-Eyed Knocker Photo Club’s exhibit.

Get lost in some of Arkansas’ beautiful landscapes at Barry Thomas Fine Art & Studio, where Thomas himself will be painting throughout the walk. The Argenta Arts Gallery will wow you with Fashion and the Moving Image + 1681 Fashion Exhibit for the Kaleidoscope Film Festival. Check out the one-of-a-kind blend of illustration and handmade apparel design created by Michael Shaeffer and Andrea Bolen.

The Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub will host a Popup Art Market, showcasing a variety of local talent for you to feast your eyes on. Galaxy Furniture is going to keep things flowing with live music, and booths where you can mix and mingle with your favorite local artists.

If it’s date night, don’t skip The Joint Theater & Coffee Shop! The Main Thing is still performing their comedy, “Birthday From Hell,” and you can reserve your tickets by clicking here.
